Founding Equity Partner and Managing Director Reporting to James Best, BMP DDB’s Group Chairman, Jason launched and built BMP DDB’s interactive marketing business to a 55 person company with revenues of £4million and PBT margin of over 20% in 2000. Jason led client relationships with Volkswagen, CGNU, McVitie’s and Reuters, winning industry awards from New Media Age, Media Week, D&AD. In 1998 Media Week pinpointed Jason as a ‘face to watch’ in its review of industry talent and Business Age profiled Jason as one of the UK’s top 50 e-business people. 2000- April 2002 Tribal DDB Europe Ltd. Chief Operating Officer / President, Europe Jason was appointed by the DDB Worldwide board to jointly lead the development of a consolidated worldwide interactive marketing network. This brief involved the merger of nine interactive businesses across Europe including BMP interaction Ltd, the development of the Tribal DDB brand, securing pan European Client business with Sony, Reuters and Volkswagen and managing integration with local DDB businesses. Jason was appointed as a statutory director of Tribal DDB Europe Ltd. and managed local office General Managers and over 180 employees across Europe, with P/L responsibilities for the region. By 2002 Jason had grown the business to an income of over £20 million, accounting for 40% of the worldwide business. Adweek’s 2002 review of interactive networks, measured by income, showed Tribal DDB’s moving from 44th to 6th largest interactive marketing agency worldwide. Adweek singled out Tribal DDB as a company to watch.
