Selling is a key part of what every agency does on behalf of its clients.
Yet when it comes to talking about how it sells to its own clients, invariably agencies try to distance themselves from any association with the ‘S’ word; agencies don’t have Sales Directors they have New Business Directors, they don’t have salespeople they have Account Directors and Client Managers.
However, every agency has to sell themselves - new projects, new products and services - to both new and existing clients to create a sustainable, growing business. So regardless of the way we describe who sells in our agencies, we need everyone in client-facing roles, to develop highly effective selling skills. There are lots of ‘How To Sell Creative Work’ training courses but few that focus on the broader sales role we increasingly find ourselves in – selling our agency's capabilities, products or services.
This Academy puts proven sales tools and techniques into an Agency context with practical examples and exercises.
