ABOUT THE ROLE
A Senior AV Executive works within a brand team to deliver top class Television, Radio, and VoD campaigns that translate to meaningful results for our clients’ businesses.
As TV is often a client’s largest and most high profile media investment, a successful campaign combines an intelligent implementation of the strategic plan, close control of the execution, good communication with the client and other parties and excellent value for money
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Airtime Buying (70%)
-Delivery of daily, weekly and monthly targets for campaigns
-Constant negotiation with TV broadcasters to access targeted inventory
-Maintaining continual records on quality and value delivery via excel spreadsheets
-Booking, updating and monitoring airtime schedules on a daily basis
-Booking and negotiating radio campaigns
-Booking and monitoring Online Video Campaigns – liaising with our programmatic trading desk
Research and administration (20%)
-Using daily audience data to determine campaign status and targets
-Matching of post-campaign data versus targets
-Preparing post campaign reports
Implementational Planning (10%)
-Preparing implementational detail on TV and Radio plans
-Gaining a thorough understanding of the role of the campaign within a client’s overall communication strategy
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and curious individual that will contribute to make UM the most exciting place to work.
-Experience working in a busy Broadcast department either media agency, owner or client side
-Numeracy, and the confidence to handle significant investment sums (>£1m)
-Ability to work as part of a team but also be self-motivating and willing to take on responsibility
-Excellent communication and negotiation with the ability to overcome barriers
-Methodical and meticulous approach
-MS Excel and PowerPoint to intermediate level
-A passion for AV is essential
