2012 - 2013 Fantasy Football results

The Premier League 2012-2013 season drew to a close last weekend and saw the football world lose some great names to retirement; Sir Alex Ferguson, David Beckham, Michael Owen, Paul Scholes, Jamie Carragher and Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov after he was diagnosed with acute leukaemia. With a total of 36 goals on the last day of the season, (10 in one game), how was your team affected? The results for the IPA Fantasy Football League are in…

The 2013 individual champion, with an impressive 538 points, is Mark Reid of Union. Stephen Paterson of Spirit Media Scotland finished in second place closely followed by Adrian Zambardino of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising in third.

Says Reid, “I am delighted to have triumphed in the IPA Fantasy Football League. I feel I was chased all the way - particularly by Stephen Paterson, who did very well for a Hibs fan. I was disappointed that doing so well in the IPA league didn't even get me mentioned for the Man U job however. Maybe next year! I look forward to receiving the trophy and defending it next year.”
