Beattie McGuinness Bungay is a creative advertising agency established in 2005.  Based in London, it employs 35 staff.  Trevor Beattie, Andrew McGuinness and William Bungay are the Partners.  Their clients include McCain, Carling, Heinz, Sky and First Choice.

Said Andrew McGuinness, “In our view it’s essential for all top flight agencies to be IPA members.  It’s a club we’re delighted to be joining.”

Cake is a brand entertainment agency established in 1999.  It is based in London and employs 55 staff.  Mike Mathieson, Mark Whelan and Adrian Pettett are the Directors.  Their clients include Carling, Motorola, Nintendo, Unilever and Reebok.

Said Mike Mathieson, “The current redefining of advertising is blurring the lines of communication.  The disciplines and services of the IPA are of great importance to a company like ours to ensure that we continue to deliver best practices across the spectrum of our business.”

Clarity Marketing Communications is a creative agency based in Edinburgh, with five employees. David Lowson is the Managing Director.  Their clients include Campari, Strongbow Sirrus, Motorolla (Ireland), Miller Beer and Midori (Melon Liquer).

Said David Lowson, “As a relatively new, growing and ambitious agency we are keen to be involved at the centre of industry change and development.  We also believe that through IPA membership we can source the necessary training to ensure our people are able to provide our clients with the latest industry thinking and best possible advice.”

Keevill Barton Kershaw is an independent direct marketing agency based in London, with seven employees.  Steve Barton, Phil Keevill and Simon Kershaw are the three founding partners.  Their clients include Alpha Telecom, CABE (Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment), Kew, Lutron and Nectar.

TBG London is a digital advertising agency based in London, with 27 employees.  Simon Mansell is the Managing Director.  Clients include American Express, Dating Direct, Ocean Finance, Littlewoods Gaming and Experian.

Said Simon Mansell, “TBG wanted to join the IPA to help shape the digital industry's present and future development.  We felt membership would allow us most effectively to debate and comment on issues which will obviously have an impact on the service we provide to our clients. We are therefore delighted to be elected as a full member.”

Euro RSCG Life is a healthcare advertising agency based in London.  It was first established in 1989 as WCRS Healthcare.  John Syner is the CEO and Patrick Brindle is the Managing Director.  Their clients include Novartis consumer health, Wyeth Nutrition, Sanofi Aventis, MSD and GSK.

Said Patrick Brindle, “With the recent coming together of our three separate agencies in one location- and a staff of 80 people - we feel that we should take a lead in joining the IPA to demonstrate our commitment to maintaining standards with our clients and staff and further the agenda for health and wellness within advertising.”

Note to editors:
The IPA is the industry body and professional institute for UK advertising, media and marketing communications agencies. It was established in 1917 as a servicing body and to negotiate on behalf of its members with media bodies, government departments and unions. Its 256 corporate members represent the major part of the advertising agency business, handling advertising with an estimated value of some £13,000 million per year (over 80 per cent of advertising placed by agencies) on behalf of their client companies and organisations nationwide. (note this figure is based on 2005 Advertising Statistics Yearbook figures and excludes classified and television production costs)..
