IPA elects new members - 5th June 2008
At its quarterly Council meeting on 5th June 2008, the IPA elected the following three agencies into membership: AWA, Hunterlodge and Serious Ideas. This brings the total number of IPA member agencies to 276. AWA
Established in 1980, AWA is a full-service marketing communications company, incorporating digital activity, based in South Manchester. Mel Harding is Chairman and Graeme Wood is Managing Director. Their clients include: Franke UK, Knauf Insulation and United Utilities.
Says Graeme Wood, “The foremost reason for AWA joining the IPA is the credibility and kudos that being affiliated with the leading body in the industry will bring to our agency. We also see the benefits that legal advice, training and networking with likeminded agencies can bring to the table.” Hunterlodge
Establised in 1987, Hunterlodge is a full service agency, based in Hertfordshire. Rob Hunter is Managing Director and their clients include: Sodexo, London Borough of Newham and Thames Valley University.
Says Adam Crowe, Marketing Manager, Hunterlodge, “To us, joining the IPA is recognition of the strategic and creative value that we give our clients. Membership will allow us to access the specialist advice, training and support systems which in turn will help us grow and improve as an agency.” Serious Ideas
Creative agency Serious Ideas was established in 2005. Scott Williams is Managing Director/Partner and Chris Norton is Creative Director/Partner. Their clients include: London Business School, Hutchison 3G and The Royal Marsden Hospital.
Says Scott Williams, “Membership of the IPA not only gives Serious Ideas fantastic credibility, it also provides access to excellent training resources that will enable our people to go beyond best practice and continue to create outstanding work.”
