IPA rolls out award-winning professional development programme in New Zealand
The partnership aims to raise the levels of professionalism amongst the industry in New Zealand, through globally recognised qualifications, that will provide a benchmark in best practice for the industry.
Two qualifications will be offered initially, The IPA Eff Test* and the IPA Commercial Certificate*. Since the launch of the IPA’s online qualifications, more than 12,000 people have achieved an IPA qualification in more than 60 countries.
CAANZ CEO, Paul Head says that the new alliance will give the local industry access to an international professional development offering that has not previously been available in NZ.
“We’re very excited about this alliance with the IPA. Globally, the IPA sets the benchmark for best practice in our industry. Having the IPA qualifications and courses now available to the local communications industry is a significant milestone for professional development within New Zealand.
“As a creative industry, our greatest asset is our creativity and ingenuity. The quality of our thinking adds measurable value to our clients’ brand and businesses and it’s critical that agencies and marketing organisations continue to invest in their people in a rapidly evolving world. The alliance with the IPA will add value to our members and our client businesses.”
Michael Burns, Head of Export, IPA: “Attracting and retaining the best talent is critical to the future success of our industry. Evidence clearly shows from our agencies in the UK of the direct and powerful link between investing in people and business performance – ultimately our thinking adds value to our clients’ brands and drives real competitive growth.
