Parody and quotations – changes to copyright law exceptions

In December 2013, the government announced that various regulations reforming copyright will come into force on 6 April 2014.


One of the new regulations will allow an exception to copyright infringement for parody and another for use of quotations. However, the regulations are unlikely to make much difference to how agencies use third party material.
