Coronavirus Business Initiatives update with MKS

Insolvency law and the CJRS are undergoing material changes.  These could make a big impact on your agency.

We are happy to announce a webinar on Tuesday 23 June, 4pm with members of the brilliant team from Moore Kingston Smith. They have agreed to discuss the latest developments and their likely direction.

  1. The Corporate Governance & Insolvency Bill is working its way through Parliament.  While its provisions may help agencies to work through the disruption of COVID-19, they may also make credit control and recoveries from clients harder. The expected Crown preference could also have implications for the timings of winding up actions.
  2. The recently announced gradual winding-down of the CJRS brings flexibility but also complexity.  Some guidance has been issued, and more detail by way of Treasury Directive is expected; it’s important to get the most out of what’s available and to ensure grant claims are accurate.

Esther Carder, Partner, Moore Kingston Smith, will be joined by two of her expert partners, Ian Robert and Tim Stovold.

If you have any questions in these two areas that you'd like to submit in advance, please let us know.

We expect this focused webinar to be shorter than previous ones in the series, running to approximately 30 minutes.
