Gender "Ladies Who Launch"

IPA International Women's Day Event

Celebrating Women: International Women's Day

Based on the results from the first IPA Diversity survey results in 2016, the IPA Diversity strategy is geared towards supporting the industry to achieve the 3 targets set to 2020 - the first being around gender equality and calls for women holding 40% of senior positions within all agencies, and at each stage of the career ladder. Currently the proportion of women at C-suite level is barely over 30%.

However we should be encouraged by the progress that has been made since these targets were three years ago – and make sure we are acknowledging (and learning from) the trailblazers and innovators in this area.

To coincide with International Women’s Day, the IPA are hosting a celebratory event on 7th March 2019 to support and inspire the industry in moving towards the targets, with a view to improving women’s progression and retention.

We will be addressing key gender-specific opportunities and challenges by:

  1. Hearing from prominent female leaders on how they reached their goals
  2. Debating and addressing the issues and challenges that women face today in the workplace – both in the industry and when it comes to marketing to consumers – and how we can overcome these
  3. Getting men involved in the conversation and discussing the role they can play in supporting the equality agenda

Tickets are £65+VAT for IPA member agencies and £100+VAT for non-members. Tickets are non-refundable from two weeks prior to the event, but guest name changes will be permitted.

There is no stair-free access at this venue, please get in touch with with any queries regarding this.
