Richard Shotton - one of the leading industry experts on Behavioural Economics and author of bestseller, 'The Choice Factory', will be demonstrating how findings from Behavioural Science can be applied to advertising.
Richard started his career as a media planner 17 years ago, working on accounts such as Coke, 118 118 and comparethemarket.com, before moving into research. He writes about the behavioural experiments which he runs for titles such as Marketing Week, The Drum, Campaign, Admap and Mediatel. A great entertaining insight and one not to be missed!
Abi Ellis – Luck Vs Discipline. There’s being in the right place, at the right time, in the right culture with the right client. But there is so much engineering and unerring discipline which actually makes the good stuff happen. Abi will divulge the 13 step method to “luck”, which gives every creative human being - within an agency or client workplace - the best chance of success. In 2019, the method will help future proof what you have to offer as an individual and as a business.
Abi began her career as an advertising copywriter (in the days of A4 pads and marker pens) and in the decades that followed, has become an award winning Creative Director in London and New York - notably for DigitasLBi, Cult LDN, Cult NYC and Wunderman. Abi takes as much joy from making great work as nurturing future talent and believes that action overcomes fear. You’ll leave knowing that you make your own luck. Literally!
