Shape advertising's future.

On 28 January, the Advertising Association, the IPA and ISBA will join forces for the very first time to present RESET 2021, a unique online event at the beginning of a critical year for UK advertising.

Leaders from brands, agencies, media owners and tech platforms will look at how we can support the UK’s social and economic recovery, how we deal with the repercussions of COVID-19 and how we can deliver on our mission to rebuild public trust in advertising.

Speakers will include the associations’ three Presidents – Keith Weed, Peter Duffy and Nigel Vaz – alongside a stellar line-up of leaders from across the advertising and political landscape. Together, they will be exploring the key themes that are central to the future of every advertising professional, namely:

  • The Recovery – how can advertising support the UK as it deals with the fall-out of COVID-19 and moves to a new role with Europe and the rest of the world? What do we want our industry’s role to be, economically and socially? And, how do we make that happen?
  • Lessons Learned – What are the lessons from the coronavirus crisis which had such a huge impact on us all during 2020? What are the new practices we must recognise and embrace? Ultimately, how do we work better together as an industry to emerge stronger?
  • Public Trust – how has Covid-19 impacted on the public’s trust of institutions, and, in particular, their trust in advertising? How do we make the system change that we need to deliver on our mission to rebuild trust in our industry and improve the advertising experience for the public?

RESET 2021 replaces the Advertising Association’s LEAD conference and ISBA’s Annual Conference in the 2021 events calendar.
