This one hour virtual workshop will run via a zoom webinar on Tuesday 15 September at 10am.
The Creative Mentor Network's coaching expert will lead a session exploring coaching strategies, and using open questions to set meaningful goals. Participants will leave this session feeling confident to apply coaching techniques to support their mentees and their junior team members.
Creative Mentor Network pairs industry professionals with young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds who are not fully represented in the creative workforce. They also train mentors to understand the barriers to access for these young people, and help them to develop themselves into more inclusive leaders and to advocate for diversity and social justice.
Their range of mentoring programmes are designed so that everyone wins: young people find career opportunities, employees benefit from training, and businesses access diverse talent.
This session will be run by coaching expert Keji, who has over 16 years’ experience working with young people from less advantaged backgrounds, and is passionate about creating real and sustainable opportunities for young people. She is the founder of youth development agency HUDL, and previously worked with the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services. She has delivered national youth programmes in partnership with businesses across sectors, as well as supporting organisations with leadership and recruitment challenges, programme design and delivery, and innovation.
