The IPA, in partnership with Unilever, launched the iList initiative in November 2019 with the aim of showcasing and celebrating role models who are truly promoting and championing inclusivity within the advertising industry - no matter what level a person works at.
We invited participants across adland who are actively working to improve diversity and inclusion within their agencies and/or the work they produce to apply to be part of the very first iList group. With over 200 applicants the shortlist was eventually whittled down to sixty. These sixty were invited to be interviewed by a panel of industry greats led by Karen Blackett OBE and Sam Phillips in January 2020. The final thirty - who make up the inaugural IPA iList - were announced on 26 May 2020.
