ABOUT THE ROLE The role of the Account Executive is to assist and support in all aspects of managing the day to day running of J3 for J&J. This is an international account and you will be coordinating with our sister agencies across Europe/EMEA to help them plan and buy campaigns in their local markets. The plans cover all media channels, from digital through to broadcast, radio and press, so a full mix. J&J have partnered with J3 to drive digital transformation. As leaders in digital adoption the discipline and channel is increasingly regarded as a strategic, high profile priority to the J&J business. The Account Executive will be tasked to assist and help evolve J&J’s media mix from traditional to digital channels across the region. As well as being a data centric role it is key that the Account Executive builds relationships on the phone with our clients and local market contacts. You will help support the larger account team on various projects and EMEA coordination. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Team coordination Develop and maintain relationships with EMEA markets and cluster leads; Support development of processes and successful roll-out across markets; Work closely with markets and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate & timely reports to clients (e.g. spend, competitive data, rates/discounts, savings, etc.); Assist in briefing local markets & support them in the implementation of their campaigns; Collect & sense-check replies, collate results when applicable on all client or central requests briefed; Support and advise local markets to ensure that their media plans comply with the central brief and strategy; Help challenge and question recommendations to ensure the best possible delivery for J&J. Central tasks & account management Support all team members in the development and delivery of strategic media planning and thought leadership for J&J; Help drive innovative solutions and identify relevant opportunities to evolve J&J’s media mix from traditional to digital channels; Have a solid grasp of the operations of all digital channels including: Search, Programmatic, Display, Video, Mobile, Social and Native; Help achieve automated data integration with J&J’s systems; Support management and successful implementation of all administrative tasks (status meetings, finance, data reporting, investment tracker); Produce all documentation in a professional manner within the agreed time period; Aid in the smooth running of the team by creating best in class templates and electronic filing systems; Ensure all client and agency contact lists are up to date and any changes in network personnel are made; For all central bookings, input media bookings on DDS & liaise with Finance Department to ensure all bookings are input correctly and in a timely manner; Support Account Manager/Director/Managing Partner in the day-to-day management of client’s requests with speed, accuracy and enthusiasm within the agreed deadlines. Client Management Gain the respect and trust of all relevant client personnel by demonstrating knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm for their business; Manage client expectations and have the ability to escalate issues quickly to the Account Director if necessary. ABOUT YOU Someone who is passionate about media and the role an agency can play in the evolving communications mix Have a genuine interesting in the digital world, big data, future trends and what’s next. High level of numeracy with a particular ability to analyse and interrogate numbers; Flawless execution, accuracy and attention to detail; Strong relationship builder with team, other departments and local markets; Ability to think on their feet, be proactive and take ownership of projects; Ability to balance the need for strategic thinking with the need to deliver and get things done; Flexible and open minded; Ability to multi-task; Strong desire to learn & to develop your media skills; Excellent verbal and written skills; Understanding of overall marketing functions, integrated communications and communication channels; Strong desire to grow their knowledge base and skill set and take on new challenges Competent in Excel, PPT, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of all relevant media research/tools available desirable (e.g. TGI, Nielsen, comScore etc.);
