Client Account Lead

This role offers a hugely exciting opportunity to lead the client relationship in the fast paced music sector. You will head up a group of labels, part of Sony Music Group and be responsible for delivering results across the entire account, as well as managing a talented team of three. You will be a key contact for senior level client relationships whilst still being very much involved day-to-day. You will set the agenda for the management of the account & how to get the comms leads to deliver on client, team and agency objectives. You will work closely with the Entertainment Digital Lead on strategy setting and ensuring that this is delivered across the account. You will ensure excellent working of the overall account team and coordinating an effective and collaborative way of working with TV and digital media specialist peers to help shape and continually improve our planning & buying output. You will be part of the Award winning entertainment team and your role will be central in building team relationships. Chemistry is therefore critical. Responsibilities: Client Servicing Own the senior level client relationship as the first point of call for the key stakeholders on your clients business. Be an expert in your client’s industry, the competitors within the sector and their general industry environment. Use this knowledge to set client ambitions for the year and to identify opportunities and areas for growth for the account. Responsibilities: Strategy and Planning You will be well versed in taking briefs and understanding the wider context of these briefs alongside presenting back to clients – managing your own and your team’s time and expectations in the process to deliver across the entire Sony account. You will demonstrate an ability to formulate strategies incorporating all channels & recommend how they work together across socials, online and offline in a sector where end-to-end tracking isn’t possible. You will be able to recommend and set appropriate KPIs with this in mind alongside the Digital Lead and communicate these concisely to the client. Constantly strive to innovate and deliver excellence across the Sony Team and wider Entertainment team. Including, but not limited to evolving media planning and showcasing intelligent planning in line with new media opportunities. Uncompromising quality control, internally and externally, at all times not only in your workflow but for your teams too. Ensure due diligence in planning and optimal processes for delivering Award winning work on time & at the scale. Responsibilities: Team Management Aid your team in delivering and dealing with day-to-day requests and answering more complex full media briefs. Challenge your team to continually innovate and always anticipate client expectations. Ensure a collaborative approach to working with the digital entertainment team for the planning, delivery and reporting of social campaigns. Assist with central team management duties alongside the other entertainment team leads. Manage your team, ensuring their growth and progression is on track and monitored, to include performance reviews and the setting and delivery of objectives. Requirements: We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual who has a minimum of 6 years experience preferably at an agency and currently operating at an Account/Business Director level. Digital understanding and experience would be preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & motivate the team to deliver on longer-term best in class strategies and campaign delivery at scale. You will have a solid understanding of all media channels and the role they will play in an increasingly streaming dominated music market. Be thorough and accurate, attention to detail is a key requirement. Be a really strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills for fostering brilliant internal, client and media owner relationships
