Client Partner

Job description


The Client Partner, with the wider account management team, is the bridge between the client and the agency. Reporting to the Senior Client Partner, you will be responsible for the smooth running delivery of client requirements within the agency, developing effective working relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues alike. You will be involved in developing creative assets, solving problems, drafting internal and external communications, and documenting progress on a variety of agency projects. You will support the team to explore client briefs and create overarching creative campaigns.


  • Managing an efficient production process with studio to execute campaign deliverables on time and to budget
  • Tackling the delivery of on and offline deliverables in multi-asset campaigns with ease and confidence
  • Ensuring all work is thoroughly proof checked
  • Defining and monitoring project deadlines and budgets, identifying and communicating potential changes that may be required to the wider team
  • Owning multiple projects across a range of clients at any one time, ensuring consistently high of standards
  • Supporting clients, keep them updated, keep them involved and feeling comfortable with the process
  • Understanding the overarching creative campaign and brief design/creative to produce individual assets for the campaign
  • Developing the creative for press, radio, POS and ad hoc design projects
  • Supporting Senior Client Partners to produce broadcast creative (TV, VOD) from the preparation, shoot attendance to the post-production
  • Building good working relationships with client and agency contacts
  • Leading the day-to-day administration of the client account, including status reports, contact reports, timing plans and the organisation of meetings
  • Developing insightful competitor analysis and present findings to client
  • Support the planning team to research market context and consumer insights for new business and client projects
  • Support the planning team on ad hoc research projects and investigating potential case studies
  • Use key/template strategic slides to explain and rationalise all creative to client
  • Attending client briefings and gathering relevant data to support Senior Client Partners in the development of creative briefs
  • Supporting the development of creative work by documenting client feedback and attending creative review meetings
  • Applying your understanding of the client’s business, the market and consumer to have informed opinions during creative development

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years experience in an agency or client side role or recent graduate
  • Minimum 2:1 in a relevant degree discipline
  • A passion for marketing, advertising, effectiveness and clients’ business
  • Ability to multi task, impeccable time management skills and work well under pressure
  • Be positive, energetic, self motivated and supportive
