As a medium-sized full-service media agency we offer a rare opportunity for someone new to media to jump straight into a role with responsibility and the chance to learn across a broad range of media channels. Media channels you will be exposed to include television, press, out of home, radio and digital. This particular position will have a strong bias towards digital & TV media, including the setup, targeting, serving and optimisation of digital campaigns, creation of tags, and general management and reporting on performance. You will also be both planning and buying media which will give you an end-to-end understanding of how to deliver a successful campaign.
The role of media assistant is initially to support their team with administration, data processing and advertising operations. However, you will be given opportunities to get further involved in the business depending on how you progress. The clients you will be working on will primarily be the RSPCA, Donkey Sanctuary, Christian Aid, Cayman Islands and Alcatel. However the team get involved in all sorts of other projects and you will be pulled on to these as and when.
We are looking for someone that is organised and able to prioritise their workload independently. A self-starter that will seek opportunities for growth and development. A people-person with the confidence to interact with staff at all levels, and eventually present to clients. The role is client facing so professionalism and the ability to garner positive working relationships is important.
Whilst there are no specific educational or work experience requirements for this role, we would like to see evidence that you are hardworking, motivated and have a true passion for advertising.
- Salary: £20k (graduate) with a salary review after 6 months
- Working hours 9:30am-5:30pm
- Location: we’re based on Soho Square in London’s West End
- Holiday: 25 days not including bank holidays (and usually some extra days over Xmas!)
