To assist the Membership Team with its core work-streams:
- The strategic retention programme for the IPA’s agency members – including assisting with the running and development of the programme of training and events ATUK
- The recruitment of new agency members
- Agency membership administration, including Membership Reports
Agency membership retention:
- Support the ATUK Membership Manager in liaising with members – including dealing with enquiries and planning/managing the agency visit schedule (including ad-hoc visits where necessary).
- Help to develop, organise and promote (and attend, where necessary) the IPA’s annual programme of activity for members around the UK (specifically focussing on activity in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Newcastle).
- Co-ordination and administration of all training courses taking place in England & Wales (outside London).
- Attend quarterly ‘City Heads & Chairs’ meetings and provide assistance in preparation for – and post - those meetings (including production and circulation of agendas, attendees lists and meeting minutes documentation).
Agency membership recruitment:
- Help field and handle the membership enquiries the IPA receives.
- Assist the IPA Head of New Business with membership recruitment activity/events.
- Assist with the administration of the application process for new members.
- Work with the IPA Head of New Business to keep the prospective member database up-to-date on an ongoing basis.
Agency membership administration:
- Help with the preparation and production of the annual value-for-money Membership Reports and manage the production of the annual membership certificates; the anniversary trophies; the IPA member services presentation, and any other marketing materials that may be required.
- Assist with the administration of the Membership Committee, which meets quarterly.
- Maintain up-to-date details of member agencies and contacts, within the IPA CRM system and website.
- Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of social media platforms.
- Some knowledge/experience of the advertising industry would be an advantage.
- Knowledge/experience of CRM useful, but not essential.
- Presentation skills.
- Self-starter and team player.
At the IPA everyone is expected to work as part of a team. This may include covering other people’s work for short periods, contributing know-how and time to joint projects and helping other staff members with training and development.
