Job description

As the Mid-weight Designer you will be responsible for creating and delivering the visual aesthetic of our varied roster of clients.

You’re already an excellent designer, someone who can problem solve and create new ideas rather than just layout and execute. You’re going to creatively steer the output of contemporary brands specifically targeting culturally savvy under 30’s around the world so you need to know your audience and what they’re into. We’re not looking for cookie cutter ad-agency gloss, we want your authentic style to inform our output.

You’ll be big into the execution, love the ins and outs of Adobe’s finest and be able to go from concept board to finished artwork effortlessly.

You must be highly organised and process driven. No-one likes a messy desktop. Especially not on Mondays. We’ve got hard drives coming in. at a rate of knots and you’ll share responsibility for looking after them and keeping track of files on the server.

You can multi-task, we’re always busy and no day is the same.
So, you can adapt and adjust to changing circumstances. Some projects take weeks, some need minutes, you’re comfortable with it all.

You’re a proper team player, you’ll get lots of support but you’re self-motivated enough to crack on by yourself, and you also back yourself to not only fit in with our team but to add to the culture.

You’ll be working at the heart of a highly creative, motivated team, delivering the best work of their lives and there will be people to inspire you and people who expect you to inspire them.

Your Experience

• mid level in a creative/design agency
• Fully Experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite, including and understanding of Design, Editing and Motion Graphics.

Package

• 25 days holiday (to include time taken off during ZAK’s annual Christmas Close, which is 4 days)

We are based on Leather Lane EC1N 7SQ in a three-story converted warehouse called ‘Sweeps’. The nearest tube stations are Chancery Lane or Farringdon.
