ABOUT THE ROLE
The position sits within the Investment team at UM. The team is responsible for the planning and buying of all ATL media: TV, BVOD, Cinema, Radio and Publishing (print + digital), as well as the management of cross media partnerships.
Publishing & Partnership Apprentice is a duel Publishing & Partnerships role. The main function of the role will be to support the team implementing and monitoring print campaigns as well as cross media partnerships.
The successful candidate will work across all of UM’s clients including J&J, Fitbit, Amex and Just Eat
We work collaboratively with our Research, Studios, Broadcast. Digital and Planning departments to create top class partnerships that deliver meaningful results for our clients’ businesses.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management and administration (70%)
Supporting project management across all partnerships from initial booking stage to post campaign analysis.
Preparing post campaign reports for publishing campaigns and partnerships.
Day to day client admin including, booking system updates, reconciliation and campaign reporting.

Publishing and Partnership Buying (20%)
Assisting with the delivery of daily, weekly and monthly targets for campaigns
Assisting with the negotiation with media owners
Developing agency relationships with key media owners

Implementational Planning (10%)
Preparing implementational detail on print and partnership plans
Gaining a thorough understanding of the role of the campaign within a client’s overall communication strategy

ABOUT YOU
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and curious individual that will contribute to make UM the most exciting place to work.
Essential:
Numeracy, and the confidence to handle significant investment sums (>£1m)
Ability to work as part of a team but also be self-motivating and willing to take on responsibility
Excellent communication and negotiation with the ability to overcome barriers
Methodical and meticulous approach
MS Excel and PowerPoint to intermediate level
A passion for AV is essential
