We are looking for a Senior Account Director who will lead the delivery and development of our group of leisure clients, both well established and newly acquired.
Specifically your focus will be to drive and deliver targeted, effective communications for our key leisure retail clients including Britvic, Greene King and Marstons. Relevant sector experience and knowledge of either the on-trade or contract catering or QSR channels is therefore a must.
As well as delivering great promotions and creative work through the team, the key to success in this role is to unlock new opportunities and relationships to grow our business with these clients and deliver target gross profit. This is not a role for a Director who expects a steady stream of work to manage; this role is for a commercial, driven marketer who relishes the opportunity to develop business.
Who might you be?
Customer experience is king, it is vital you have experience of developing and delivering cross channel communications. Our work embraces consumer programmes, campaigns and promotions and requires predominantly below the line and digital comms channels and skills.
You must be able to operate successfully at a senior strategic level. It is essential therefore that you are a problem solver who is confident of leading our team to find engaging propositions and innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges using insight. You will develop and sell-in proposals for comms to engage customers at every touchpoint, deliver against their objectives, create measurable ROI and, of course, make them famous within their business!
You will be a natural relationship and business developer and be able to demonstrate your personal ability to drive substantial profitable growth in strategically important accounts in your previous or current role.
You will therefore have substantial agency experience, at least two years at Account Director level. You may have worked client-side but you are most likely to have worked in an integrated or below the line agency working on similar brands
The right candidate will have experience of managing and motivating a team. You will be well supported by a talented Account Team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate, ambitious, engaging and absolutely can-do, someone who brings the ‘agency factor’ and who our clients would find inspiring and convincing.
Based on experience the salary range is £55K to £65K, plus bonus and competitive benefits (or a day rate of £250 – £300).
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is a requirement of the role. It is a requirement that the candidate has no more than a one-hour commute.
