Senior Account Executive

Job description


You’ll manage campaigns across the full range of channels. These will include TV, Door Drops, Inserts, Press, OOH, Radio, Paid Social, Display and PPC. You will also have regular contact with several client-partners, running though weekly optimisation recommendations and attending meetings. You will be part of a close-knit and friendly team who share results and celebrate success together.

- Media planning and administration
o Responsible for the creation of campaign schedules and timeline documents
o Responsible for delivery of media counts, quotations and other required campaign information
o Collation of relevant historic campaign data and insight for Account Managers
o Production of purchase order docs and delivery of confirmations to media owners
o Responsible for monitoring of media outputs and data delivery, to set deadlines
o Support AM/ADs with implementation of the media strategy and project management of campaign activity
o Timely and accurate invoicing of projects once deployed
o In charge of dissemination of campaign reports to senior team (AM/AD) in a regular and timely manner
o Support Account Managers with production of end of campaign review documents.

- Campaign operations
o Set up the necessary platform access for campaign implementation
o Set up and test tracking codes, placing test orders
o Check creative meets the required specifications and liaise with creative resource to make any adjustments if required
o Create and manage tracking, data export and results documents
o Upload creative onto ad-serving platforms and code as per tracking requirements
o Liaise with the client to organise approval of ad creative
o Ad campaign set up, including budget level and targeting
o Daily campaign monitoring ensuring delivery and performance metrics are under control making regular adjustments to optimise results
o Weekly reporting to the client on performance with the Account Manager

- Client administration
o Organisation of client meetings and preparation
o Prompt delivery of contact sheets and action points to account team following client meetings
o Maintain planning schedules, client folders and documents, reporting to internal management teams
o Responsible for day-to-day liaison with client contacts, ensuring clients have access to regular support
o Prepare competitor reports and industry insight as directed by management.

- Supplier administration
o First point of contact for all administrative queries from media owners
o In charge of all supplier paperwork and media information (media cards, audience insight, other)
o Manage media delivery and confirmations to clients and media owners

- Media channel knowledge
o Senior Account Executives must have a working understanding of the following channels;
 TV
 Facebook paid advertising
 Display – programmatic and direct
 Paid Search
 Direct Mail / Data Processing
 Inserts
 Door Drops

- System software knowledge
o All AEs will be trained and be expected to confidently use the following systems;
 Concept
 Egnyte
 Concept Timesheets

- Specialist platform knowledge
o All AEs will be trained and be expected to confidently use the following digital platforms;
 Facebook for Business
 DoubleClick Campaign Manager
 Google Tag Manager
 Adform DSP and Ad Server
 Google analytics

Core skills
- 18 months agency experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong ability on Outlook (Excel, word etc)
- Well organised
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Numerate
- Ability to follow tasks to set deadlines
