Job description

What will I be doing? You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks, with a core focus on technical areas such as SEO audits, onsite optimization and analytics, and a secondary focus on content marketing and competitor analysis. You will provide technical consultancy to clients on all aspects of SEO including: •Delivery of comprehensive technical website audits to highlight areas of required attention in order of priority. •Implementation of technical change requests for a variety of site changes including: -SEO technical analysis and evaluation -Website architecture -HTML optimisation -Internal link optimisation •Analysing web traffic and campaign performance to advise on future strategy •Keyword research •Comprehensively research and analyse competitor sites and search results pages •Content Marketing: -Producing and implementing content marketing strategies -Producing and implementing back link strategies -Managing relationships with 3rd party web site owners through email, telephone and face-to-face discussions •Understanding issues surrounding user experience, accessibility and information architecture •Project managing clients to ensure that changes are implemented •Keeping up to date with the latest industry developments What will I need? We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, passionate and has great enthusiasm for online marketing. Placing the client at the centre of everything you do, you will have great initiative and a desire to be different through creativity and analytical approach to problem solving. The successful candidate will have a strong SEO knowledge, with good commercial experience and a track record working on small and big client campaigns. You will be an enthusiastic and logical problem solver with the ability to manage multiple work streams and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met. You will have: •Knowledge of Google’s algorithm and how websites are ranked by demonstrating expertise, authority and trust. •Experience of implementing onpage technical SEO changes: HTML, Meta Tags, H tag structure, Image markup. •Experience of delivering technical SEO audits that result in prioritised optimisation tasks. •A highly analytical mindset and a flair for problem solving •Ability to prioritise conflicting workloads and consistently hit targets •Capability to work hands-on to solve problems, with ability to generate ideas and solutions •Demonstrable experience of working within a web development environment
