Createch 2020: a global networking opportunity

Join 30,000 visitors from around the world at Createch 2020 during Virtual CogX.

The UK Advertising Export Group (UKAEG) and Creative Industries Council (CIC) are offering agencies a unique global networking opportunity during lockdown at Createch 2020 from 8-10 June.

During Createch, the UKAEG is hosting its first ever virtual trade mission, facilitating meetings between UK and Chinese advertising agencies, to help the UK creative industries make up for lost opportunities following cancellation of this year’s SXSW and Cannes festivals.

Held during Virtual CogX, which is expected to welcome more than 30,000 visitors from around the world, Createch 2020 features an ambitious programme of live streamed speakers and digital networking opportunities is set to connect tech pioneers from UK creative industries with international business audiences.

With participation from the Department for International Trade, and UKAEG, Createch and Virtual CogX provide a showcase for the UK creative industries to a global audience during a turbulent time for the global economy.

The three-day festival will also feature a virtual booth co-hosted by the UKAEG and the Shanghai International Advertising Festival (SHIAF) which will broadcast content to the Chinese market. The booth will also host a series of presentations during the festival, including:

  • Me, Myself and AI: What we learnt through our digital cloning experiments, and why it’s now more relevant than ever, with Daniel Cheetham, CEO, Happy Finish
  • Digital pollution: Why your design and development decisions could be killing the planet, with Charlotte Walsh, Co-Founder & Partnerships Director at Digital Detox
