TI Media tops IPA Digital Media Owner Autumn Survey

TI Media shows highest levels of service and a commitment to continually improving their digital standards.

Agencies have named TI Media (formerly Time Inc.) as the best overall media owner to work with for the second survey in a row.

The Autumn Survey highlights which media owners deliver the highest levels of service and which have shown a commitment to continually improving their digital standards.

Nearly 85% of respondents (84.4%) agreed that the overall experience of working with TI Media was a good one. They were closely followed by Quantcast (82.1%) and Teads (80.3%).

While TI Media leads overall and among Crossover Media, Quantcast leads among Ad Networks/Exchanges, DSPS and Sales Houses, and Spotify (66.7%) leads among Online Pure Plays,

Other key findings:

  • Two media owners, Teads and Quantcast, each top three categories. Teads leads in Understanding of Own Products, Communication of New Opportunities and Frequency of Contact, while Quantcast are best in Quality of Response to Brief, East of Contact and Communication of Direct Client Contact.
  • MiQ lead in two categories (Understanding of Client Objectives and Media Agency / Media Owner Partnership), while Telegraph.co.uk top Understanding of Crossover Media Opportunities.
  • In addition to the overall ranking, TI Media top Dispute Resolution and Provision of Creative Solutions.
  • Captify are the most improved media owner – seeing an increase of 10 percentage points of more in three categories (Communication of New Opportunities, Dispute Resolution and Provision of Creative Solutions).

Once again, the IPA Digital Media Owner Survey includes the JICSWEBS Digital Trading Standards Group Status of each supplier. Of the 19 listed suppliers, 18 are DTSG Brand Safety Signatories, this means that they have signed up to JICWEBS to be independently verified; in addition, 17 of these are also DTSG Certified, meaning the business has had their brand safety policies and processes independently verified, and have received a seal of approval.

Says Nigel Gwilliam, Director of Media Affairs, IPA: "Agencies need to know which media owners are committed to improving the quality of their services and ensuring better brand safety standards, which is why this survey is so important. Congratulations to TI Media for their continued excellence in this survey."
