Like many industries, IPA staff are working from home during the lockdown. Every day we are helping members with their immediate concerns which range from how to interpret latest Government advice to how to manage their businesses. We are also reframing our delivery of courses and events so they can be accessed digitally and are the most relevant to our members now.
All IPA staff are available on email and on their usual office phone numbers during this time.
Here is how we can help.
The Finance team is monitoring and interpreting announcements of Government relief initiatives such as Time To Pay (request for slower payment of PAYE, VAT and CT) and the reimbursement of Statutory Sick Pay (SSP). If you have any questions, please contact our Finance Director, David Clasen (email@example.com)
The IPA’s Legal team continues to be available to answer IPA member agency advertising or employment law enquiries. Please email either firstname.lastname@example.org (advertising law) or email@example.com (employment law). There is further information about the IPA’s legal advice service for member agencies via our Legal page.
IPA members can continue to make use of our free online learning. This includes: TouchPoints Modules, CPD Modules, LegRegs Certificate, Commercial Certificate, Effectiveness Essentials Certificate, Foundation Certificate and Advanced Certificate in Effectiveness. We've published Log On To Get On – a list of the free or very cheap online resources out there on the subjects of brands, effectiveness, wellness, D&I, client service, creativity/tech and innovation, commercial acumen.
We are also running a digital programme of events which are promoted via our newsletter.
The IPA Insight team can be contacted on their usual email (email@example.com). They also have a back catalogue of free sector specific papers and articles on a variety of interesting topics if you find you have some time on your hands. Remember you can also search out reports and articles through the Knowledge Centre search function on our website.
The advice from the JICs is they will continue to provide currency data. All scheduled media research meetings will be held remotely and details of how to connect will be sent to participants ahead of these meetings. If you are worried about data provision please contact the relevant JIC.
