Like many industries, IPA staff are working from home during the lockdown. Every day we are helping members with their immediate concerns which range from how to interpret latest Government advice to how to manage their businesses. We are also reframing our delivery of courses and events so they can be accessed digitally and are the most relevant to our members now.

The Finance team is monitoring and interpreting announcements of Government relief initiatives such as Time To Pay (request for slower payment of PAYE, VAT and CT) and the reimbursement of Statutory Sick Pay (SSP). The IPA Legal team continue to be poised to help with your usual or unusual marcomms or employment queries. Please email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org (employment). We have published guidance on furloughing and have also recommending our members read the working guidance notes issued by Government, and ACAS.
All courses and learning are now free to members until 1st October 2020 (limited availability on some courses).
You can access our free online qualifications learning for Leg Regs, Commercial Certificate and the Foundation Certificate. All you need to do is ensure you confirm you are a member when accessing the learning. If you want to sit the exam later, that’s up to you. Remember you can also search out reports and articles through the Knowledge Centre search function on our website. The Insight Centre have also issued guidance for employers about the coronavirus and what employers should/should not be doing about it.
For those of you preparing your Effectiveness Awards entries we have extended the entry deadline to Tuesday 5 May, with the Databank Questionnaire and Supplementary Materials due on Tuesday 12 May. Please email email@example.com if you have any questions or concerns regarding your entry.
The advice from the JICs is they will continue to provide currency data. All scheduled media research meetings will be held remotely and details of how to connect will be sent to participants ahead of these meetings. If you are worried about data provision please contact the relevant JIC.
