The IPA has welcomed the new industry #TimeTo initiative set up to combat sexual harassment and launched this week by the Advertising Association, NABS and WACL.
IPA President Sarah Golding said "It's vital that everyone gets behind #TimeTo in an effort to eradicate sexual harassment from our industry. The very first step has to be to understand the scale and nature of sexual harassment currently occurring. The IPA are asking all of our members to complete the survey, not just those unlucky enough to have personally experienced sexual harassment. We need to also hear from people who have never been a victim of sexual harassment, nor witnessed it, nor think it a major problem. With the information from this initial survey we can start to change the culture of our industry for the better."
