The IPA will once again be attending SXSW Interactive Festival and will be offering delegates support on the ground in Austin along with curating their learnings and experiences.
This year’s festival takes place from 10 – 16 March and is expected to attract over 70,000 visitors to hear some of the world’s experts in emerging technologies and digital creativity share their knowledge through various presentations, meet-ups and workshops.
The IPA will be hosting its annual SXSW blog and if you are attending and would be interested in contributing please contact DavidD@ipa.co.uk.
Says Nigel Gwilliam, Consultant Head of Media and Emerging Tech, IPA, "In 2016 Obama in his valedictory year came to speak at SXSW Interactive. How much has changed in a year. We are returning to Austin this March to find out whether cyber warfare, fake news and an alt-right phenomenon that began online will feature as key takeaways from South By along with the more expected themes of artificial intelligence, voice as interface and mixed reality all underpinned by the coming 5G revolution."
