The 2017 IPA Annual Review includes a roundup of our Centenary year and highlights the many programmes we ran to help the industry be more commercially successful. It also includes the topline results from our industry surveys and summarises our seven new thought leadership publications.
In 2017, of the estimated 25,290 people working in IPA agencies, more than 14,822 accessed us online through www.ipa.co.uk; nearly 10,000 people attended our events or participated in IPA training and development courses; and 87% of our member agencies called us for advice.
This amounted to our providing over £1 million worth of legal advice covering both marcomms and employment issues, responding to 5400 insight enquiries, 286 production enquiries and 235 finance enquiries.
Our members also used www.ipa.co.uk to post 887 jobs. Our social network is 73,536 strong. Globally, our qualifications programme secured new partners in Canada and MENA; and in 2017 over 500 people outside the UK passed an IPA qualification.
