IPA supports B/CAP’s new guidance on gambling ads

The IPA supports B/CAP’s new guidance on gambling ads that deals specifically with responsibility and problem-gambling issues.

The Codes already contain strict rules regulating gambling ads, and the guidance should help agencies and their clients have a clearer understanding of those rules to ensure that their ads continue to remain responsible and protect the vulnerable.

Says Richard Lindsay, Director of Legal & Public Affairs, IPA: “This latest B/CAP guidance further demonstrates the responsible approach the industry is taking to try and prevent gambling ads posing a risk to vulnerable groups.”
