IPA to return to SXSWi Festival

The IPA will once again be attending SXSW Interactive Festival and will be offering delegates support on the ground in Austin along with curating their learnings and experiences.

This year’s festival will take place from 9-18 March and will bring together around 40,000 visitors to hear some of their world’s experts in emerging technologies and digital creativity share their knowledge through various presentations, meet-ups and workshops.

SXSW Interactive remains the biggest and best emerging technology festival on the planet, and has earned a reputation as a breeding ground for new ideas and creative technologies.

Says Nigel Gwilliam, Consultant Head of Media and Emerging Tech, IPA: “We are returning to Austin this March to see whether the shadow of fake news and cyber warfare is still being cast or whether the festival will return to its tech-utopian roots. Will augmented and mixed reality rush past virtual? Will blockchain save the world? Will artificial intelligence get creative? Will a boy ever be born who can swim faster than a shark?”
