Lights, Camera, Action! Thirty-six delegates pass IPA TV Production Knowledge Course

Thirty-six ad practitioners have passed the IPA’s TV Production Knowledge Course, recognised by the industry as a vital part of any producer's training. The successful candidates were celebrated at a graduation party at The Hoxton.

The course, which has run for over 30 years and seen more than 1000 graduates, provides a comprehensive grounding in the skills, knowledge and practices necessary for effective agency producers. It covers a wide range of topics including the role of the agency producer, animatics, casting, PIBS, post production and digital media.

Of this year’s 36 total passes there were:

  • Four Distinctions
  • Twenty-nine Credits
  • Three passes

Says Course Director and Producer Fiona Renfrew: “The IPA’s TV Production Knowledge Course provides a vital overview for up and coming agency producers, giving them an insight into all aspects of the business. We had an incredibly high calibre of delegates this year. Congratulations to all!”

All delegates who passed the course will also earn three stars on their way to becoming an IPA Accredited MIPA. Accredited MIPA status is the most visible, robust badge of professionalism, designed to put our industry personnel on the same footing as accountants, architects and lawyers.
