Six agencies join IPA membership

A+, Narrative, Social Life Media, Wake the Bear, White Spider Media and Wordworks were elected into IPA membership at its quarterly council meeting.

Founded in 2017, A+Agency is a strategic and creative agency based in London focusing on creating through the line solutions for its global clients which include Diageo brands Cîroc Vodka, Ketel One Vodka and Tanqueray Gin, and Agent Provocateur. The founders, Nick Monahan and Mashinka Fourie, collectively have over 35 years experience in the Drinks industry, with a particular focus on the premium segment.

Nick Monahan, Creative Director at A+ said: “Joining the IPA will support and enhance our continued growth as a young agency and allow us to be part of a broader community of advertising professionals with access to a wide range of services focused on advertising and communication excellence in the UK.

Narrative

Narrative is a full-service marketing agency founded in 2004. Based in Sunderland, its clients include Siemens, Sodexo and Newcastle University.

Joanna Taylor, Creative Delivery Director, at Narrative said: “As IPA members, we will benefit from the IPA’s reputation within the industry as well as gaining access to vital CPD for all team members - something that aligns strongly with our agency values and objectives.”

Social Life Media

Founded in 2014, Social Life is a creative social media agency based in London. Clients include Netflix Global, Netflix UK and Zynga.

Wake the Bear

Wake The Bear is a strategically-led marketing communications agency that provokes, supports and realises growth potential for brave businesses. Founded in 2018 by Toby Strangewood and Richard Stanton, the agency has seen rapid development, growing to a ten-strong team in year one, and has an eclectic array of clients, ranging from a global banking group to start-ups in fashion, retail and travel and leisure sectors.

White Spider Media

White Spider is a full service media planning and buying agency based in London. Founded in 2005, clients include Royal London, Lyxor and Cazenove Capital Management.

Iain Prickett, one of the Founding Directors of White Spider Media says: “ There are many reasons for us joining the IPA, we see the knowledge and research services as an asset to the continued growth of our business, and opportunities to learn and develop through the CPD programme will be an important aspect to the the development and training of the bright and talented people within our business, and as we are about to be fourteen years old, it’s long overdue.”

Wordworks

Founded in 2009, Wordworks is a strategy and creative agency based in London. Its clients include Zebra Technologies, Axon and Delta Air Lines.
