What do Gen Z really think about working in adland?

IPA Talent & Diversity Conference 2023, Wednesday 19 April

Is the advertising industry in danger of losing its mojo with young talent coming into the industry? At the upcoming IPA Talent & Diversity Conference, we’ll hear from young adults about their honest perceptions of what working in adland would be like.

The half-day conference on Wednesday 19 April will also break down the biggest retention and inclusion issues facing our industry and offer tangible solutions on how to resolve them.

Our fantastic line-up of leaders and experts from inside and outside of adland, will explore what inclusive leadership looks like; the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on socio-economic diversity; deconstructing systemic barriers for sustainable equity; and why we should think about making the Metaverse an inclusive platform.

We’ll also hear from Josh Krichefski on the state of the nation in his first appearance as IPA President, and from Afua Kyei on how she became one of the first minority ethnic women to rise to one of the top jobs at the Bank of England.
