Thirty–three agencies honoured for excellence in professional development as IPA celebrates ten years of CPD Gold

Thirty-three IPA member agencies have achieved CPD Gold accreditation for their outstanding professional development programmes, and were honoured at the IPA Members’ Lunch.

2018 marks the tenth year of the IPA’s CPD Gold Accreditation scheme, which was introduced to recognise and reward agencies who demonstrate a genuine culture of learning, bettering the professionalism, development and reputation of the industry, enhancing clients’ brands and agencies’ worth as a result.

Each of the 33 CPD Gold agencies have made an exceptional investment in the professional development of their employees and have seen success against business goals in return, with last year’s CPD Gold agencies reporting a 28:1 return on training investment. Two agencies in particular have shown a remarkable dedication to CPD, with Hunterlodge Advertising and Total Media being awarded CPD Gold in each of the last ten years. Both agencies were presented with a special plaque at today’s IPA Members’ Lunch to mark their outstanding achievement.

When agencies and clients work together as partners, not only on the production of great work but on the development of great teams we can face any challenge and produce outstanding results. Congratulations to all agencies that achieved CPD Gold this year.”

Says Patrick Mills, Director of Membership and Professional Development, IPA: “This year we are proud to be celebrating ten years of recognising excellence in CPD, evidenced by the agencies that attain IPA CPD Gold. Every year we are impressed at the levels of innovation and creativity of the agency CPD programmes, and the results that this investment achieves. The mounting body of evidence from the submissions proves that investment in CPD has a direct effect on the business success of agencies. Congratulations to all the agencies that have achieved Gold and Platinum this year, particularly Hunterlodge and Total Media for all their outstanding work over the last 10 years.”

When applying for IPA CPD Gold Accreditation, agencies must demonstrate that CPD lies at the heart of their business, building a strong learning culture, in support of real business objectives and the development of their employees professionally and personally.
