As Managing Director of Havas Media in the UK, Steph is responsible for making Havas Media the best place to work and a place that delivers brilliant work for a client portfolio including BBC, PayPal, Starbucks, O2 and giffgaff. With more than 20 years’ experience within the media industry, Steph has a strong background in media planning across a range of blue-chip clients, as well as leading the development of strong and successful workplace cultures. ​ Steph joined Havas in 2017 and during that time has been critical in the growth of the agency; winning and retaining key clients across that time, Havas media has been nominated as one of the top 5 agencies to work at by Campaign for 2019, 2020 and 2021.

What are your reasons for becoming a TLG member?

It's great to connect with like-minded people from across our industry; to work collaboratively to strive for change and to share the best ideas and steal with pride. We all face the same challenges and it makes sense to try and tackle these as a collective.

Why are you passionate about diversity and inclusion?

Our work is about talking to the nation, a nation that is made up of a rich tapestry of people. Whether that is diverse nationalities, cultures, socio-economic factors, gender identification, sexual orientation, hidden and visible disabilities, religion, everyone is different. How can we credibly represent the nation through our work if we don't represent the nation within our organisations. Diverse voices and opinions always make the work better. Everyone has the right to feel that they belong and are heard and we need to ensure that we are making that a reality within our industry and our individual businesses.
