This is the IPA's largest room. It is airy and bright with magnificent original features so is suitable for large presentations, meetings and receptions.
The size and versatility of Room 1 mean that it can be configured for a breakfast seminar, lunch-time meeting, all-day conference, evening reception, or any combination of these. Several floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural light and a view of the Square, along with an original 19th century fireplace. Wifi internet is included, along with a 98'' LCD monitor, a projector and fully integrated AV system. The Room also includes a generous balcony terrace that faces out onto the imposing Belgrave Square, with its historic architecture and central garden.
If you are planning a large event, or perhaps one with different elements, such as a presentation followed by a drinks reception, we recommend combining the hire of Room 1 and Room 2. A discount is offered when booking both rooms.
The high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony never fail to impress, whatever the occasion. Catering and a cloakroom are located in a neighbouring ante-room.
