Criteria for the People First Promise

Providing evidence of your agency's activities that support and empower your people’s mental health and wellbeing.

The submission must demonstrate that action is being taken to help create and nurture a culture where mental health and wellbeing matters and contributes to business success.

It must also show that the company prioritises this issue, has a clear point of view on it and is actively building understanding throughout the company. The ambition and desire to value employee’s wellbeing is strong and there is a plan to do so.

Each category entry shows evidence of action or actions having been successfully completed that is:

  • Specific (a clear and concise action)
  • Measurable (this action or its impact can be tracked)
  • Achievable / Realistic
  • Relevant (is this an activity that is relevant to the wellbeing and mental health topic)
  • Time Bound (when did the activity start and when did it end)

The submission must also answer whether their mental health and wellbeing activities have bought about positive change or impacted the organisation or team in a positive way.

The People First Promise badge is valid for two years.
