DIGITAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job description

Working as an integral part of our digital team, this client facing role will require you to lead on planning, buying, and implementing digital media campaigns that may be integrated with offline that includes OOH, TV, and radio.

The role requires an understanding of the media landscape, excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

You don’t need to have worked solely specialised in digital previously but 2+ years working in a media or marketing agency role, plus experience in a role where you develop strong analytical skills, will allow you to be successful with us.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Managing a portfolio of digital clients ensuring that at all times the service they receive from Smithfield is excellent.

• Planning effective digital media campaigns for performance and brand response for Smithfield clients with the focus on client ROI.

• Proactively managing client communications received via email or telephone. We aim to acknowledge a client’s enquiry on the day that it is received.

• Preparing for and attending client meetings ensuring that all meetings have a pre agreed list of objectives and that action items identified are swiftly actioned.

• Campaign monitoring and reporting using raw data from different sources e.g. GA, GAM, DCM compiled into dashboards in XLS and PPT

• Developing and using data visualisation skills for reporting against advertiser objectives and KPIs. Communicating results and advising on campaign optimisation to internal Smithfield stake holders, clients, and media and Ad Tech partners.

• Ensuring the effective and accurate management of client media investment for all campaigns and reporting campaign activity, with where appropriate recommendations, to clients.

This requires attention to detail, close control of daily campaign delivery and excellent Microsoft Excel skills for financial management of media billings.

• Use of Google Analytics, Google Trends, and other tools (Ad Intel) for marketing analysis, media measurement and effectiveness.

• Building relationships and receiving regular product updates from key partners such as Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB). Once received, consider how this data can be used to enhance the relationships we have with clients.
