Stanley is co-credited as the father of Account Planning, alongside Stephen King (JWT). The son of a painter and student of law at Cambridge, he exemplified the ability to combine creativity and logic. Stanley later co-founded Boase Massimi Pollitt (BMP), an agency at the very fore of the UK’s creative boom.
