Account Manager

Job description

We are looking for a talented Account Manager to help us support a growing portfolio of clients. From initial briefing meetings, through to the planning and implementation of media plans and reporting on campaign performance and insights, you will be able to put together and implement plans that achieve our clients’ goals.

Working with the Account Management team and collaborating closely with the Digital team, you will be responsible for developing campaigns to achieve client targets, with guidance and support when you need it.


Your responsibilities
• Work closely with the Account Director(s) to develop media strategies and oversee their implementation
• Receive client marketing briefs, interpreting and delivering those briefs to relevant media channels
• Identify, research, negotiate and plan media advertising contracts
• Brief and liaise with our in-house Digital and Social Media team on a daily basis, and third-party creative suppliers where necessary
• Management of planning, forecasting and budgeting processes with the Digital team
• Ensure all active campaigns are being managed to the expected standards, utilising all available and applicable metrics relevant to the client
• Report on key performance indicators across all markets
• Co-ordinate feedback on campaign performance, analysing performance strengths and weaknesses and advise on opportunities for improvement
• Day-to-day Account Management of multiple clients
• Contribute towards innovation of the agency’s services and strategies

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree educated - BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of Account Management experience within an agency or media sales environment, with client-facing responsibilities preferred but not essential
• Experience of working in the Education and/or Lifestyle sectors is preferred but not essential


We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience of media planning & buying, both on- and offline
• Experience in planning and delivering for both large and small budgets
• The ability to multi-task across multiple clients and sectors, and where required to be able to ‘drop-into’ a project or pitch at short notice
• Capacity for managing multiple campaigns for multiple products in multiple territories, and potentially languages
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills and the confidence to manage your workload with a high-level of autonomy
• A clear focus on delivering outcomes with effective problem-solving skills
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical thinking, with mathematical skills, to evaluate campaign performance across multiple touchpoints and metrics
• Thorough attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential
• Ability to build relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with clients and suppliers
• Ability to work in teams and independently
