Parliamentary and Campaigns Officer

Job Role
You will work closely with the AA’s head of public affairs to run a pro-active PA outreach programme to build understanding of the advertising industry amongst politicians.


Key Responsibilities
Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across all political Parties
Supporting delivery of a busy schedule of Parliamentary events
Drafting high-quality briefings, letters, and other documents for stakeholders
Monitoring and responding to key Parliamentary and political developments
Working closely with colleagues in the policy, comms, and commercial teams to support wider AA objectives
Attending relevant industry and political events


Skills / Experience
Strong understanding of the Parliamentary process and UK politics (experience in Westminster desirable)
High quality written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Experience delivering political engagement strategies
A self-starter who enjoys working in a small, busy team
