The Role:

We’re looking for an aspiring Senior Account Manager (SAM) to join us in our London office. Our London office is the hub office servicing Europe, Middle East and Turkey markets for Apple.

The SAM role will be reporting into the Account Director (AD) and be part of the Account Management team which consists of about 30 people.

It’s a mid-level role, typically supporting one or multiple ADs day-to-day within the pod-group. The SAM typically has Account Manager and/or Account Executive support, depending on the level of complexity.

The SAM role at Media Arts Lab serves as a key communicator across Account and Project Management to lead the Client and Agency work and process at scale.

They will be working alongside Account Management team members across various levels; various internal departments; MAL Los Angeles; and OMD London ( media agency partner). They will also have close interaction with Geo Apple Advertising team members, and some interaction with WW Apple team members.

This role requires some internal senior stakeholder management, with Account Director oversight.

We’re looking for someone who is excited about working with a global, culturally diverse and highly driven team for one of the best brands in the world. If you are inquisitive, collaborative, a great communicator and interested in the world of advertising – we’d love to hear from you.

The Work:

•Lead multiple small-scale and mid-scale projects, of various media types, from start to finish with minimal oversight, while supporting larger-scale productions.
•Present clearly and confidently (internally and externally), while demonstrating a clear, well-articulated, independent POV on the creative work.
•Ensure production logistics are flawlessly managed (i.e.quality and timely delivery of materials; production schedules and budgets; legal considerations; media deliverables; and use of MAL systems).
•Serve as air traffic control for projects, communicating cross-project updates to the pod group, where relevant.
•Support the senior Account team in People discussions, escalating potential resource needs and Learning & Development opportunities.

Who will thrive in this role?:

•Unrelenting ambition to create smart, simple, iconic work that makes culture for the brand.
•Must have integrated, ad agency experience demonstrating both creative & strategic thought.
•Passion for the advertising and marketing industry with a keen eye for current trends, culture, and emerging markets.
•A hungry, flexible and resourceful individual with strong attention to detail and a drive for excellence in Client/Agency optics and expectations.
•Someone who loves to collaborate with different people to get the job done, and supports team members’ growth in doing so.
•A strong verbal and written communicator, who knows how to tailor conversations based on topic, audience and context.
