Social and Influencer Assistant

Job description

We are looking for an ambitious Social and Influencer Marketing Assistant to work across a number of social media campaigns and influencer campaigns. This role sits at the core of the Fairy Networks division who are responsible for the agency’s communication and amplification work. You will work alongside our Fairy Networks team, reporting into the Content Manager for social tasks and the Talent Partnerships Lead for influencer tasks and the Director of Brand and Strategy for Digi brand output. 
 
This role will work across a number of different projects so requires flexibility, from planning editorial calendars to managing content, casting suggestions to desk research, creative brainstorming to briefing and admin support such as reporting, you will be able to move between these with ease. 
 
Roles and responsibilities: 
Social Media
* Use insights to proactively contribute ideas to help develop social media strategy
* Editorial calendar planning for clients and Digi own brand 
* Monthly social calendar management across multiple platforms
* Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day scheduling for social media channels 
* Support with community management for social retainer clients 
* Provide support on paid media campaigns (supporting setting up, optimising and reporting)
* Provide reactive performance stats for clients and campaigns 
* UGC content research
* Copywriting
* Content creation across TikTok and Instagram 
* Reporting
 
Influencer Projects
* Casting and creative support
* Desk research
* Creating talent briefs
* Creating decks 
* Capturing shoot and event content (BTS)
* Support on event and talent bookings
* Reporting 
 
Requirements
* 1-2+ years of experience, in a similar role (this may be as a previous assistant, internship or working on your own project) 
* Like us, you’re obsessed with all things social media and popular culture. You’ll have an informed understanding of – Gen Z/youth culture, digital trends, and the related landscape: celebrities, brands, TV, podcasts, fashion, beauty, music, lifestyle & art, you’ll also be able to tackle commercial projects
* Have a good eye for influencers, emerging talent and content creators 
* You’re a people person, confident talking to talent and enjoy being sociable 
* You will understand what success looks like in regards to engagement rates
* You’re a organised self starter and have lots of ideas for social and influencer projects 
* Strong planning, prioritisation skills, time management, with attention to detail
* Highly engaged user of social media platforms, with a strong understanding of channel nuances
* Preferable knowledge of social management platforms e.g. Buffer
* Preferable experience using Facebook Business Manager 
* Great written and verbal communication skills
* Basic video editing skills (mobile only)
