IPA Director General Paul Bainsfair has welcomed the appointment of Rishi Sunak as the next Prime Minister hoping that he will 'provide the financial acumen, clarity, certainty and confidence that we are seeking from Government' and 'end the political turmoil'.
Says Paul Bainsfair, Director General, IPA:
"We welcome the appointment of Rishi Sunak as our next prime minister. We hope that this will bring to an end the political turmoil that has caused so much damage to the Country and that he will be able to provide the financial acumen, clarity, certainty and confidence that we are seeking from Government.
Firm foundations that allow our agencies to make more solid, longer-term plans to build and grow their businesses and those of their clients.
"On top of that we are of course still keen to engage with Government further on the significant issues affecting our industry, including HFSS regulation, the Online Advertising Programme, the privatisation plans for C4 and more."
