Feel the power of unity at the IPA Talent & Diversity Conference 2025

Wednesday 30 April

With new public and political scrutiny of DEI initiatives, the IPA Talent & Diversity Conference returns on Wednesday 30 April to centre talent and diversity conversations around tangible actions we can take to move everyone forward together.

The half-day, hybrid conference will see thought leaders and industry experts explore advertising’s place in culture; the state of inclusivity within adland; and how we can move beyond awareness into taking action and to foster truly inclusive and equitable workplaces.

What you can expect:

  • IPA Talent Leadership Group Chair, AMV BBDO’s Xavier Rees explores the importance of unity for our industry and society.
  • IPA President-elect, BBH’s Karen Martin in conversation with VCCP’s Julian Douglas on how best to nurture creative talent.
  • The launch of new IPA research into ageism in our industry, the extent of the problem and how we can solve it.
  • The business case for inclusive advertising and why inclusion means income with UN Women’s Melda Simon, Kantar’s Sarah Morrell, Ogilvy UK's Shelina Janmohamed and Bayer Consumer Health’s Vicky Keenan.
  • A look at what wellbeing means in 2025, and what we can do at an individual and organisational level to protect it with UM Worldwide's Michael Brown, It Takes A Village's Chloe Davies, McKinsey & Company's Barbara Jeffery and NABS' Sue Todd.
  • And much, much more to be announced soon.
