How to create systemic change through talent and diversity

IPA Talent & Diversity Conference - Wednesday 24 April

The IPA Talent & Diversity Conference returns on Wednesday 24 April, to explore how to develop a culture that welcomes everyone, retain the talent we have, and represent the audiences we serve.

The half-day, hybrid conference will focus on three areas, UNITE, DISCOVER and ACT. It will also see the announcement of the iList 2024, celebrating our industry’s champions of diversity, equity and inclusion.

What you can expect:

  • A keynote address from author, broadcaster and poet Lemn Sissay
  • Bridgerton’s Charithra Chandran on her journey and activism
  • IPA President Josh Krichefski on the People First Promise, and how to improve mental health in the industry
  • A look at the power of advertising to unite, and the role influencers can play in driving positive societal change
  • Nishma Patel Robb and the How I Became Podcast on the next evolution of inclusive leadership

Says Xavier Rees, IPA Talent Leadership Group Chair and CEO, AMV BBDO Group: "2024 could be a challenging and divisive year, with over 70 elections taking place around the world this year, on top of other existing conflicts and geopolitical struggles. That’s why the IPA Talent & Diversity Conference will focus on the role of advertising in uniting people, providing inspiration and guidance on the key issues affecting talent in our industry. By creating the right conditions within our companies, our people and our work can thrive."

Says Leila Siddiqi, Director of D&I, IPA: "We’re so pleased to be back again, for the third time. This is a must attend event for anyone who is interested in systemic change and building long term successful behaviour change programmes. This conference is in a league of it’s own as it demonstrates what good looks like in the inclusion space – and the spectacular power of diverse hearts and minds."

In-person tickets are available from £175, with virtual tickets available from £99.
