Associate Director of Legal & Public Affairs (Employment)
Juliet advises IPA member agencies on their day-to-day employment law issues. These range from managing disciplinary, capability and grievance proceedings, absence management, family leave and flexible working rights, equalities law, redundancy and restructures, TUPE, employment contract and staff policy enquiries.
As part of the employment service, Juliet organises seminars and training sessions for members, as well as preparing legal alerts, guidance notes and template documents.
Juliet was involved in writing the IPA’s ‘Code of Best Practice on Dignity at Work’, comprising a template policy and accompanying guidelines, to help members eradicate inappropriate work cultures. She also helps keep the IPA up-to-date with employment regulation.
