Asmita Dubey is the Chief Digital Officer for Consumer Products Division, at L’Oréal. She joined L’Oréal in January 2013 as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), for China. In 2016, she was nominated in addition, Chief Marketing Officer, for the Asia Pacific zone. Since April, 2017 Asmita has taken her current position, as the Chief Digital Officer, for Consumer Products Division, based out of Paris, overseeing the Division’s Digital & Media.
She is a marketing professional, with 22 years of experience in communication groups and multi-national companies, with a working career that spans across geographies from India, China to Middle East & Europe (France).
Having 12 years of work life in China (2005-16), 7 years in India (1997-2003), a short stint in an APAC role, 2 years in a global role in France (2017-18); Asmita has accumulated an expertise of marketing in the digital age.
Her work over the years has been focused on developing a modern management style, at the same time, developing skill sets in a changing marketing landscape. Asmita’s expertise spans digital marketing, e-commerce, content marketing, market research, integrated marketing communications, data driven marketing, marketing analytics & effectiveness, omni-touchpoint planning & a deep expertise across all media functions
Prior to L’Oréal, Asmita spent eight years at Mindshare (WPP Group), 5 years in InterPublic group (McCann & UM). She holds a BSc.Statistics Honours degree from Delhi University, and has a Masters in Marketing Economics & Management.
